Calculator keeps launching, how to stop it?

by OSUnTexas / June 1, 2015 12:09 PM PDT

The calculator on my wife's desktop keeps launching, sometimes as many as 10-15 times.
I have run McAfee, Avast, Malwarebytes, Spybot and still it comes back.
Any suggestions?

Still not solved
by OSUnTexas / June 2, 2015 6:38 AM PDT

I tried that no success.
I have tried 3 different times to restore at different points, but restore did not complete.
and issue still there.

About ready to reinstall and start over with this PC, any thoughts before I rebuild the issue?

Shortcut key maybe?
by Steven Haninger / June 3, 2015 12:57 AM PDT

The calculator may have (accidentally) had a shortcut created. You should be able to view the calculator icon properties to see if a key combination had been set. This commonly happens if that combination is similar to the keystrokes used for cut or copy.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
