Calculate editing rate with track changes

Oct 21, 2007 1:01PM PDT

I use the 'track changes' function of MS Word for editing work and am payed based on the percent amount of editing done. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a reliable way of calculating the amount of editing (original words/total words) in MS Word that I can find. Does anyone know of a way to do this or even another program that you can do this in?

Thanks
