Cakewalk Pyro 2004

I was just wondering if anyone else used Cakewalk Pyro 2004(or similiar Pyro) burning software and what they thought about it. I used Nero 5.5 before but it came bundled with the burner that turned into toast and it wouldnt work with the new one( isnt that a bunch of ^$#^%$#^%?). The new burner came with Nero Express but i didnt care much for that. The new Nero 6 was 70-80 dollars but the Pyro was only $35. I can do some things i never could do with Nero. It cannot erase part of or just add to a cd-rw but i could not get Nero to work with a cd-rw at all. I have no use for cd-rw,s anyway. Better quit running off at the mouth. Would appreciate some feedback. Thanks

Doesn't it do multi-sessions? I thought it does. I guess I have to look into it. What are you trying to burn, mp3 or cda?

ThankYou ahtoi. With Nero Ex. I couldnt fade the beginning+ ends of tracks in+out. Also with Pyro i can save tracks to the hard drive with any name i want, making it very easy when dealing with 10 or 15 different cd,s. There is a very cool sound fx machine also. I dont think that is possible with Express and i never could figure it out with 5.5. There is nothing wrong with Express, it is simple and easy to use. My kids use it on their pc. I have not worked with mp3,s yet though Pyro does support this and will convert wave to mp2 or wma and so on.With the nero 5.5 you cold only burn 30 mp3 tracks and then you had to pay extra for mp3 pro. With Pyro you can use the mp3,s are unlimited. I will look at the kids Express and see if it does multi-sessions.
