At least I only had to run a fresh line from the demarc line to the cable box. All fixed now. Be sure to not split the signal if you can.
Recently purchased a new HDTV and upgraded to digital cable. I'm not pleased with the picture at all. It's not bad, it's just not as crisp and clear as I think it should be in comparison to every other HDTV I see. I did everything I knew to do before calling the dreaded cable repairman. He says that the wiring in my home is "old" (ie, about 20 years) and won't support the newer digital pictures. I think this is hogwash, but I'm not certain. Please help!
