Cable or Satellite?

by Ramerjamer / August 15, 2007 11:06 AM PDT

I have Charter Cable.... pretty good hd as far as I know....
(channels are 4 locals, hbo, cinnemax, movie channel, local pbs, TBS, Universal hd, Starz, and Discovery.)

Should I change to Satellite?..... and is there any better signal?

(on a panasonic 50" 1080p plasma)

OR THE DESSERT? WHY DO YOU RECEIVE ONLY FOUR LOCAL CHANNELS???
IN METRO BOSTON-PROVIDENCE COMCAST delivers at least 40 channels, not including the pay for movie channels such as HBO, SHOWTIME, MAX, etc.

Good luck,

Riverledge.

I have Dish Network and am very pleased with it. I would recomend you weight out the cost of the different packages from your cable provider to Dish and Direct TV. The cost between Dish and Direct are about the same per month, but Direct wants you to pay up front for equipment depending on what setup you want.

MY APARTMENT BUILDING is considered "historic" by the city; thus no dishes allowed. Cable and FIOS(not here yet,) are my only options.

Best wishes,

riverledge.
