Cable-online?

May 19, 2009 11:33PM PDT

Hi, I went from dsl to cable and I was wanting to know can someone steal or use my service. I received a bil in the the mail last week that I downloads several movies and was charged for it. I was at work, and I don't know what's going on.
If someone is stealing my online connection, how can I stop it. I didn't think one could steal or use others cable connection to the web.

Why not cut the power to the decoder and cable modem while you are out?

How do these things work anyway?

The download is part of the cable internet services? If that's the case, I say..shut that door now!

Normal when buying video online, they need your credit card numbers and all that stuffs..don't they?

I just don't see they do this either; I would think someone got to leave their cookies trail behind, hehe.
