Question

Cable modem and router options

Apr 27, 2016 5:50PM PDT

I am moving and the new location does not have good service for AT&T internet so I am going back to cable. I was spoiled with fiber to my door where I live now. I am going to buy by own equipment. I have read one or two negatives about the Surfboard 6580, which seemed like a no brainer. Am I being paranoid? I need stability more than top speed. Good modem router combinations?

Thanks

What cable company is this? I thought AT&T is the only fiber optic game in town.
