Cable HDTV Programming..

Dec 19, 2004 7:47AM PST

I'm wondering if anyone knowswhat the process is for adding more HDTV programing to cable company chanel line ups?

I subscribe to Charter communications and my TV (Toshiba 46h84) will be delivered tomorrow with Cable HDTV installed on Tuesday.

I realize that there isn't a lot out there, but I'm wondering why the delay in programing? For one, Fox is available in some areas, but not mine...

Anyway, does anyone know a timeline when more chanels will be added to cable TV broadcasts and how this process works? I'd like to see more chanels in the next year or so, but nobody can really say much about it now-even charter!

Thanks in advance!
