C7000 - USB recording devices

by petebushby / November 14, 2010 12:04 AM PST

Does any one have a list of external devices that can be used to record from this TV. I have just bought a WD Elements 1TB drive - but it won't format and displays as an 'invalid device'. Is this because it has a separate power supply and is not USB powered?

Any advice?

cheers Peter

petebushby,

The U.S. product lineup doesn't even have a drive recording option.

For that region, I don't have any sort of list of compatible devices that would allow you to record except a MSC class device, like a thumb-drive. Larger devices may not allow that kind of recording, but you'd have to check with the Samsung customer service center in your region.

The Samsung RF23M8090SG

One of the best French door fridges we've tested

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
