C7000 3DTV - Incorrect Format from NAS, but plays from USB

Hi,

I have a strange problem. My Samsung C7000 is connected to my LAN via Gigabit connection and reads all video files from my 2TB Network Attached Storage.

I recently formatted the storage and have put a number of video files on there. When I attempt to play them, I get the "Not Supported File Format" message, however when I put the same files on a USB stick, the files play straight away without issue.

Can anyone explain why this happens? Does the Media Play function work any differently when connecting via Ethernet?

I have tried this with AVI, MPEG and MKV files and all work when played using the USB, however MKV only works from the USB.

Any help greatly appreciated!

Kind Regards,

Pete
