I got this error message yesterday and couldnt start the computer... so I used the recovery CD and this fixed the problem. My question is what is causing this error in the first place (i googled this but couldnt find an answer).
Also, my laptop is 5 years old and I am wondering if there are any signs that the hard drive could be dying? Is there a way to check if the hard drive has become corrupt is this what is causing the problem with the system32 file.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
