Clarification Request
How big is C?

I had this question come up with an owner of one of those 32GB Windows laptops. That's so small that it fills fast and the user has to keep it clean, learn about how to run disk cleanup and uninstall any app they can.

Space

As mentioned learn how to clean and uninstall.

Cleaning.
Disk cleanup.....a windows tool.
Ccleaner free......use default settings and stay away from the registry cleaner.

Treesize......to monitor your folder sizes.

If space used continues to grow in size it should not take very long with treesize to see what's growing.

I could get along very well with a C drive 1/2 that size but we all run our machines different.

Yup.

That's a very small C drive. You will spend a lot of time cleaning and finding the used diskspace.

Answer
Free up space on c drive

If your c drive is keeping getting full very quickly, you can try to Disable Hibernation,Perform a Disk Cleanup regularly, Turn off System Restore,Uninstall programs you do not use, or you can migrate the data on the c drive to external hard drive, and format the c drive to free up spare on the drive.
