One day, I will start a discussion about Windows 8's pro's and con's compared to previous versions of the Windows Operating System and will try to expand my knowledge of Windows 8 with and without modifications and programs installed to the OS.
Truthfully, I am not experienced with Windows 8 and, though it may not be totally different, it's still an Australian dialect to an American dialect to me. Things are different, but reasonably understandable... sometimes. This is a reflection of me and I hope I show very little bias towards it. Basically, I do not understand it well and eventually I will, but I still can not live without windows 7's start menu. It holds anything I'd ever need, unlike a tile panel start page that has to be navigated for the correct program. I understand your Classic Shell addon and will investigate it the day that I decide to test Windows 8.
Thank you for your input as I will look into the Classic Shell later on, instead of countless hours on Google looking for the best shell to "live in".
Hi, My laptop's C: drive is almost full, but D: drive is 30% empty. I know I can extend it with a tool like partition manager.
The thing is I don't want to loose any data on C drive, it is OK to loose data on D.
Should I take a backup with http://clonezilla.org/ first?
