Byting off more than I can chews

Aug 19, 2007 3:03AM PDT

Does anybody know how one can see what bytes come in and what goes out when connected to the internet. Someone once told me that more bytes should come in than going out, but I have 3 times more going out than coming in. I have done virus scans (Avast), root scans(AVG), antispy and everything else I could get my hands on. I guess something is sending something from my pc. Is this in order or should I panic. I use a 56k modem.
