"Buzz out Loud" Now offered on Tivo?

by 2143436756292931057199946 / November 16, 2006 3:12 AM PST

According to an article on CNN, Tivo announced it will offer internet video capability through it's product. Note: it does not allow copy-protected videoes. However, all user submitted videos you could find on YouTube or even video podcasts will be playable through TiVo.

So BOL? You going TivO?

No TiVo for me here in Sweden, but did I miss something? Did BoL go video?

In reply to: BoL video podcast?

Hey Sweden'r.

No, Buzz Out Loud didn't go to a video podcast, just Molly Wood's Buzz Video Podcast is the one I'm referring too.

However, since TiVo (which is somewhat popular in America) offers video podcasts... the BoL crew should begin broadcasting in video... essentially widening it's audience? Just a thought.

TiVo already has a podcast feature
by bullardc / November 17, 2006 10:15 AM PST

If you go into 'Music,Photos,Products and more' and scroll down there's a podcast thing. All a gotta do is enter the URL (Not an easy task when your using a remote) and select your episode. You can also use TiVo Desktop to send your iTunes podcast folder to your tivo.

Anyhow, none of that really matters because who wants to listen to audio on a TV, that's what iPods are for.

Oh yeah, and I got a TiVo update, and was all exited until I noticed that it only contained "improvements to speed and stability" and WPA support. I'm using a Series 2 Standalone, which is probably still their most supported unit (even with the series 3), so maybe this is all just a rumor.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
