Buzz Out Loud has finally jumped the shark

by Chappy1 / July 3, 2009 4:00 AM PDT

Sorry guys, but it was fun while it lasted. Molly leaving and Natali joining has finally killed off that Buzz magic that had me waiting for my daily Buzz fix.

Natali - I'm sure you're cool but I'm sick of the sexual tension (underpants comments a few episodes ago had me rolling my eyes for the umpteenth time...) and all of the shallow comments about why you are on the show is making me sick of hearing it.

I just don't think there is a group chemistry anymore. I actually find myself skipping episodes when Natali or Rafe are on...Thank God for Tom and Cooley, otherwise I would never have made it to the 1000th episode. The last 100 or so have been really hard to listen to...

Cheers and catch you on the next wave...

Nope not at all also this isn't a TV show show I don't think that BOL can jump the shark at all.

Infinite copies would require infinite energy and infinite computer hardware.
I think this infinite digital copies meme needs to have the prefix, virtually infinite!

I've been watching these threads for a while, and while i have to admit that just initially, natalie did seem to be a bit out of sync with the group chemistry, thats now finished, the days when natalie was in the studio are proof it's more geography than chemistry that caused any disconnect. Furthermore, i've actually found with the new ultra-rotation with an increased "anchor" role for Tom & Jason, i've found myself getting MORE into Buzz Out Loud, not less. The show is great, i rated with all 5* on iTunes to prove that. All shows go through up's and downs, but BOL still has a lot of that spark and enthusiasm from the old days: cherish that, because not a lot of other podcasts have.

I know a lot of you will want to vent your frustration that molly is no longer full time, and that JaMoTo is not a 5-days-a-week kind of thing anymore, and i understand that, but are you REALLY going to blame molly for wanting to take a break from an insane 17 shows a week schedule at CNET? I don't blame any mother who wants to slow down and take a new schedule. For the time being, JaMoTo 5-days-a-week is not coming back, but i'm pretty certain there will be weeks (the week before the holiday season vacation, the week after) where it WILL be JaMoTo 5-days-a-week. Regardless of platform (podcast, TV show, radio show etc) one lesson remains true: adapt or die. BOL has, and is adapting, and change is inevitable.

Sorry to vent like this, and this thread is more joke-ish than anything else, but i've been watching these threads for a while, and i wanted to put in my 2 cents, on behalf of me, and any others who think the show is just fine, and is in fact: great.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
