Buzz Out Loud delayed today

by acedtect / January 31, 2007 5:57 AM PST

We encountered some technical difficulties and Veronica is not too happy with Audacity right now. Hopefully we'll have the episode by 4 PM pacific.

Oh that's horrible I hate it when that happens.

It's that heart wrenching decision to pull the plug when you can see the ball spinning and you know you haven't saved. You have the mouse hovered over force quit but can't bring yourself to do it, any minute it might start again?

We've all been there. Just be thankful the app that crashed, burned & ate all your data was Audacity & not ...say... TurboTax.
Perhaps in tribute to the "lost" episode, tomorrow's should be episode 401-A. Wink

Audacity?

I'll admit that I harshly judge software from their GUI's and design... and looking at the Audacity website: audacity looks like a sorta crappy product..

Have you ever tried using one like Audio Hijack Pro? I dont know what you use to record or anything, but this software could probably do it. I dont think you can do much/any editing on this, so that could eliminate it, but Audacity looks like one of those beta out-of-a-kids-basement apps.

BTW-- I could be 100% wrong purely because I judged the app by its looks, and have never tested its functionality.

Sometimes I record myself playing the piano, it'll take me some time to get it perfect, and after that Audacity will crash. It's so annoying. Sad
