I can't say I think TNT is horrible; I actually really like Becky Worley as she seems to bring the non-California tech view to the table, but I agree that Sarah Lane is awful. At least Becky does some actual reporting and research into stories....Sarah is just like "Well gee, I like this" and really adds nothing of value. I would HOPE Tom would recognize this, but my guess is Leo is pushing her onto the show to keep her employed. What made Tom and Molly so good is that Molly was intelligent and had passion while Tom was also intelligent but could temper his passion and debate both points of view. I still think Becky can be Molly-lite, but it seems like Sarah is on more often than Becky as of late, which is killing everything.
So with the launch of Tom Merritt's daily tech news show on the TWiT Network, naturally this is going to raise questions as to whether people prefer his new or old gig. Personally I'm a fan of both shows but due to my TWiT podcast habits and my respect for Tom I'll probably be tuning in to TNT more often (sorry CNET Nation).
Keeping in mind that Tech News Today is still a work in progress and that Buzz Out Loud has the flexability to adapt if it sees a threat, which show do you prefer? Which one will you choose to listen to on a daily basis, or will you simply now listen to two daily tech rants?
