Buying New Motherboard

Dec 25, 2004 10:16AM PST

Well I'm about to change the motherboard I have now (Asus p4s800) and looking to buy a genuine Intel motherboard for my chip. It's an Intel 3.0EGHZ Socket 478 with 1 MB L2 Cache. The board I was looking at is the Intel D865PERLL Socket 478 ATX Motherboard. From everything I've read about it, it is compatible with my processor, but I just wanted to make sure. Can anyone verify this? Thanks a bunch in advance.
