Question

Buying my first gaming PC

Aug 28, 2018 5:02AM PDT

I'm trying to buy my own gaming PC. but i need some advice on the parts i'm going to buy. My budget is $1100.

I already made some decisions. Here is the setup i'm thinking about.

Case: Sharkoon VS4-S
Motherboard: ASUS PRIME B360M-K
Processor: Intel Core i5 8600 - 3,1Ghz
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 16GB(2666Mhz
Storage: 240GB SSD Kingston A400
Storage #2: 2TB Hard Disk.
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1060 6GB
Sound Card: Onboard - 7.1 HD audio Realtek ALC887
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper H412R
Case Cooler: Standard Case cooling
Power Supply: Corsair VS450 (450Watt)

So this is what i'm thinking to buy.
Peope are saying i shoud change my processor to AMD Ryzen 5 2600. but I'm not sure about that. Please if you have any suggestions comment below

Hi, as what the others said, I think its better that you should change the processor to an AMD Ryzen Since you're buying a gaming PC, it's better to invest in a better processor and GPU. My current gaming PC is running AMD Ryzen 7. The bulk of the cost must be allocated more on the processor, but overall it still depends on your preference.
