Go Sony!

Go to http://www.sonystyle.com Get Sony Cybershot! I use it! It's one of the best and most affordable digicams available. Most of them have optical zoom, 4-7MP, and 1.5'-2.5' LCDs. Only in the Point-and-Shoot category though.

Which Camera
Mar 27, 2005 11:21PM PST

When you are buying a digital camera made by one of the major camera makers, it is hard to make a mistake.

Each year they add more megapixels, features and reduce the shutter lag time. And manage to keep the price within reason.

I suggest you visit one of the stores that will let you get your hands on the cameras (i.e. Circuit City), and spend about an hour playing with the cameras. That will help you determine what type and size camera you want.

Remember....you are just looking, not buying.
Leave the wife and son at home and take your time.
