Buying Canopus ADVC 110 to USe with IMAC OS10

Anyone have any experience with this device and its use with an IMAC INntel OS10? Just want to transfer old vhs tapes to video and edit.

your iMac Intel OS X machine.

While your buying this device, make sure to buy the optional power adapter. This will avoid the occasional Low Power warnings on your Firewire connection

The device will be recognized by iMovie and will import your old tapes in a format that you can edit with iMovie.
Share your edited movies off to iDVD, burn them and you are done
