Buying a PDA for travel - whats good?

I am buying a PDA to take to Canada (resident UK). Plan is to take lots of lovely digital photos and upload them to website each night. Need WiFi and internet access. Back home travel for work so need email, messaging, office and expenses log.
Any suggestions, advice?
also what about battery time and charging abroad? software recommendations?
