I really enjoy our newer laptops with LED backlighting. That and the 5400RPM drive could be points off the Tosh.
The 17 inch display turns the Dell into a desktop. If you are going to lug it around opt for the full accident insurance.
-> There's no word about usage in this discussion so no reason to pick one CPU or GPU over the other.

Getting a new laptop I'm thinking of these two. I don't have experience with either one Had sony and apple for the most part but just a bit pricy for me now. Any info or suggestions would be great.
