Buying a new Ipod touch 64gb.... silly question maybe...

Hello all!
I am looking to buy a new 3G 64GB Ipod Touch.
I live in Canada, but have found a better price in the States, so would like to purchase there.
Now the silly??? question part. Is there any sort of incompatibility, or locking, or anything else that would cause it not to work in Canada? I'm thinking probably not, but would like to hear from all you electronics gurus out there. Can you either calm or confirm my fears, please? Thank you so much in advance!

(NT) Don't see any reason why it would not work in Canada

Thanks mrmacfixit...

Thanks for your feedback.... I wondered because of all the tricks and roadblocks that new technology seems to have more of these days.
Thanks again,
