Grif, what do you mean ''Clean things off''? Do you mean just delete everything I installed, and desktop shortcuts, games and such?
Sheila
Hi, I have also been thinking about buying a new computer, and have read the posts here on the forum. I have decided on the emachines T6520, based on responses from the forum.
Last week I looked on the Internet for the model. Found where I could buy it. Now, today I looked again, and it seems like it has been replaced with model T6524.
Is it possible that the models are replaced that quickly? I read on the forum that the 6520 was on the shelves in June of '05.
This computer will be for home and I will be surfing the Internet, sending emails, going to messageboards like this one, saving stationary for emails, saving gifs, saving wav files, saving photos from disk, saving recipes, using Works a little bit.
Will this computer be too much for my needs? Right now I have an emachine that needs more memory. I have had it for 5 years and have not had trouble with it. Nothing that I haven't caused. I have already asked about more memory in previous posts. I received great answers, but I never did add more ram. I thought I would just buy new.
