That the gaming laptops do run warm? Some write about this in negative words such as "never a (brand name)" or such but those old Pentium 4 laptops were made by too many due to a misdirected consumer that demanded it. Those were lap burners.
Today they don't offer units with 100C surface temperatures but those gaming laptops can become quite warm.
It looks like you are looking for a gamer's laptop. If so, be sure to consider a laptop cooling pad for your desk.
I want to buy a laptop with these specifications
-Processor: Intel T9500 2.5 Ghz (or better, i don't really know the difference between the T, L, U,...)
-The most important specification is that it doesn't become hot fast (here where i'm the weather could reach 40C)
-Windows not Mac. (don't know if Vista is better or XP)
-Graphic card: I hear Nvidia and ATI are the best but don't know about the models. I usually play World of warcraft and work on design programs like solid edge or solid works.
- Widescreen (from 14" to 15.4")
-My desktop is obsolete, so i'll use the laptop everyday
-Its a substitute to the desktop. The tasks i'll be doing on are Gaming, some programs like C++, Matlab, SolidEdge, watching DVD's,
-If there is something good is coming in these two months i could wait.
-I have a toshiba now, but it gets hot very rapid. So no for toshiba.
-HD 160 GB upwards
If i forget something please tell me.
Thanks on advance
