buying a digital camera for the first time...

hi...looking to spend around $200 or so for a digital camera. My intended use is to take your everyday photos (travel, special occasions etc), but also take the camera with me while I bike around manhattan and take photos of this and that. I guess I am saying that I want the camera to be a link to a new found hobby.

Check out the new Sony S600 which sells for just under $200.

This camera offers a lot for the money.
