Buying a Camcorder

Jun 15, 2010 4:52AM PDT

Hello.

I am bidding on a camcorder on ebay.

It is a panasonic pv-gs500.

the listing says: This camera's firewire port does not work, it is detached on the inside. Also, there is something, not quite sure what, wrong with the heads for recording.

My question is this: Can these issues be fixed, and if so, how much do you think it would typically run for a repair like this???

Thanks!
