Buying a 40" LCD - Samsung LNS4051D or Sony KDL40S200A?

by jimmycanuck / September 11, 2006 6:58 AM PDT

I'll be buying my first HDTV later this week, and I've narrowed my choice down to two TV's, the Samsung LNS4051D and the Sony KDL40S200A. Does anyone have any experience with either of these units? From what I can tell, the Sony has a better picture, but lacks many of the standard features that you can find on the Samsung.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! Happy

Thanks for the help!

I'll be plugging in my Xbox360, PS2 and, when released, a Wii. Also, I currently have an HD/DVR box (I have cable) that I've just been using for the DVR, so I guess I'll be using that for HD channels as well.

These two TV's are pretty much the high end of my budget. They're $2499 and $2599 in my area right now (Canadian prices).

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
