They are supposedly making a 50GB PSP? Thats new to me. Anyway, to your question. How much do you see your usage changing from now to then. If you think it will be more toward the services of a PSP then see what they plan to do and wait if thats true. the problem is that stuff is always changing and good new stuff comes out roughly every 6 months. Remember the purpose of the products also. A PSP is primarily a gaming machine that does the other stuff. I wouldn't suggest using it in the way you would use a PVP/MP3 player even if the storage is the same or more.
The Vision:M is great if you were wondering how it was. =)
Hello all,
I've been researching players for a while now and had pretty much decided to go for a Creative Zen Vision: M. Then I saw the Sony NW A3000 and was amazed. Yes, I know it doesn't have a colour screen, but a new Sony player with one can't be too far off. Ability to play MP3s/WAV/other audio formats is the most important thing to me, and ability to view pictures and movies is of a lesser importance.
Should I be buying a player now, or should I wait until the middle of the year when a lot of new PVP will be out so that my choices are a bit more open? I've heard that a new Sony PSP will be out with either a 6gig flash drive or a 50 gig hard drive. That may sway me towards a PSP instead of an MP3/PVP player.
I live in South Africa so we don't receive all brands (Sony, Apple, Creative, and Cowon are easy to get hold of but no others) so would appreciate it if you could stay within those models.
Thanks for your help.
