Tracking for Free? For how long?

After following your link I could not find the length of time your offer is good for. You say:

Each one who buy GPS Tracker before 31 of July 2010 is eligible to get Online Tracking Service for free."

My question is, as I'm sure everyone's is, for how long? Let me resate this clearly, Buy a tracker, get free tracking service for ............how many days, weeks, months years, etc.

Important for buyers to include all pertinent data. I also saw nothing mentioning warranty but I did see the Purchase button. Care to fill us in? Thanks

One year subscription for FREE !
by GPLogger / May 26, 2010 2:46 PM PDT

You are right, this information is have to be added, the free tracking service is for the first year, extended subscription costs $45/year.
So, if you buy the GPS tracker you will get FREE online tracking solution for one year. The warranty is for 1 year as well.

Annual Fee

OK thank you. At that price I might be interested. Then another follow up question would be is it customary for the tracker unit to be software updated for the first year or two? Or would one have to update the unit itself every year?

Just trying to get a feel for how often one might have to purchase an updated Tracker unit.

I'm not sure I understand what you talking about, tracking unit does not need any updates, you purchase the tracker and track it via web based online tracking system, of course some updates in the system will appear, but user don't have to purchase or pay for it. User just pay for subscription extention.
Hope my answer will help you to understand how it works.

You said "I'm not sure I understand what you talking about,

You are not sure what I am talking about? I am not talking, I am inquiring. Surely you know the difference.

But then you go on to answer "tracking unit does not need any updates,"

How would I know this? I know nothing of this product which is why I asked. Does the Company expect those who know nothing about the product to assimilate the knowledge by looking at pictures?

Then you further explain "you purchase the tracker and track it via web based online tracking system, of course some updates in the system will appear, but user don't have to purchase or pay for it."

And how would I know this? Give me a break. Once again you assume someone unfamiliar with the product adsorbs (yes the spelling is correct) through osmosis? What are you thinking?

And finally you say "User just pay for subscription extention.
Hope my answer will help you to understand how it works."

Yes, of course it does. Why do you think I asked? What strikes me as odd is that you painted a picture that you understood little of what I asked, then went on to answer exactly what I had asked about. Now ask yourself if your opening statement was really necessary. You understood perfectly what I was asking. But you made it sound as if I were to know all of this. When you don't put the information at your site then do you not expect people interested to ask questions? Well you should, but one thing you should not do is to insult them for asking a question. Somewhere along the line you missed what every teacher I have had has said at the beginning of every class I have had, "Please don't feel shy about asking questions, as there is no such thing as a dumb question.

Jeezuz I don't even know why I spent the time responding, but I can tell you this, I am certainly no longer interested in the product.

..... misunderstanding......

In reply to: Huh???

I didn't want to offend you or to teach you, I do not really understand what was a question ... therefor I wrote about this, to understand you that if my answer did not satisfy you, so as I wrote earlier, it means that I really didn't get the question.
Anyway, in addition to the wrote above, I want to apologize if my words somehow touched or hurt you, our service is designed for beginer users who bear at least some idea of tracking in real time, but even people who don't and have faced for the first time with online tracking system may receive a competent and comprehensive response on anything that interests them. With great pleasure and patience we try to answer all customer's questions and try to do it constantly.
Once again I apologize if the previous post was not quite correct.

Your response was entirely appropriate. The previous poster is obviously immature. Thank you for clarifying the fee schedule.

His response was entirely appropriate? Great, then you respond to my hopefully appropriate and reasonably clear question, which follows below. I'd quite honestly like to hear how you would have responded.

OK thank you. At that price I might be interested. Then another follow up question would be is it customary for the tracker unit to be software updated for the first year or two? Or would one have to update the unit itself every year?

I went to purchase one of them but can not find anywhere on your site a $45/year plan. The cheapest plan is $26 a month. Please explain how to get the $45/year (when the first free year is up) and what is the time interval between tracking (1min, 5min etc) Thanks
