Buy Ewidi Plus?????

Dec 21, 2005 2:24PM PST

I had the free Ewido for 14 days and now it has run out and they want me to buy the plus. Should I? I have Win. XP pent. 4. I have norton Av which is about to run out and they are nagging me. Think I will go with AVG free. I have SpywareBlaster, Spyware Doctor, Webroot Spyware sweeper, Spy Bot, Ad Aware. Microsoft anti spyware. Oh and TrojanHunter which will run out soon. I use DSL and just have win. Firewall. Zone Alarm kept crashing my computer. Thanks for advice. Not sure if Ewido has the plain security suite which I thought I had. Or if I had the plus. But I think it was the plain. Barb

the best of my knowledge the difference is that the "plus" version has the process guard (real Time protection) and the automatic updating which you lost after the 14 days. You can still update manually and use the scanner though. If you feel that you want those 2 things, then buy the "plus", if not than stay with what you have. Also, just so you know, Ewido recently changed the name from "ewido security suite" to "ewido anti-malware" because that is actually what it is but the program itself did not change.

Thank you very much for the reply Roddy. I just wasn't sure what the difference between the plus and the plain was. Barb
