Question

Buy another iPad 2 or go with ... ?

Feb 4, 2015 9:06AM PST
Hello everyone!

For several years I have enjoyed the iPad 2 and been perfectly happy with it. But it's showing it's age and needs replaced. I bought an iPad Air 2 - but I did not like it! So back it went!

Now the question is do I get an iPad 2 or look for a different tablet/laptop? I like the 2-in-1 laptops but not the price!

Please tell me what you think! Do I stay with iPad 2 and wait for Windows 10 or ... ?

Thank you for your wisdom!

What's not to like about iPad Air?
Feb 5, 2015 4:04AM PST

Since the ipad 2 and more current iPad all run the same software, how do you not like the current, faster version of the same device?
I started with the iPad 2, my son has an iPad with retina, I bought a mini with cellular, which I gave to my nephew. I bought the first iPad Air and passed my 2 down to my other son. They are both running the same software, although a few features don't work on the 2 that do on the Air.
I don't know if you bought a bad unit, or if you have never updated your iPad 2.
If you haven't updated, there is a good chance a refurbished iPad 2, running current software, will be equally annoying.
As for switching platforms. I can't truly do it. I got a free Samsung Note 8 when I bought my Note 3 phone. I also purchased a Note 10.1. I love the tablet, but the user interface is not the same and the battery life is terrible.
As long as my Android phone and iPad can sync information, I will be a two platform girl.
