Buy a BB Passport or wait for next Samsung Galaxy flagship?

I am in dilemma between deciding to whether buy the BlackBerry Passport or wait for the next Samsung Galaxy Note device to come. I currently carry a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 which recently has started to lag and the performance is not as snappy as it was brand new. Although the BlackBerry Passport is an old phone relative to the market, I have heard great things about it from people who actually own it and since they are on sale as I of now, for $329-CAD from $599-CAD, it seems like a steal of a deal (I am very well aware about the BlackBerry in house mobile operations being shutdown). I originally planned to buy the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 around this time of the year but unfortunately due to the battery explosions and subsequently the discontinuation of the Note 7, I am rendered helpless from buying the latest and greatest from Samsung's Note lineup. I want to know if it will be relatively viable for me to get the BlackBerry Passport (considering the price and also the fact I like the design and quirks of it), or should I just hold on to my dear Galaxy Note 3 until the next Note comes along (if it ever does) from Samsung? Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is a bit too bland in comparison to both my options and I do not like it much, as a result it is not on my shopping list; Just in case you wonder!

I don't know what do you think, but in my opinion, Galaxy note 5 is so geat, awsome experiences. And BB Passport is very specialy and unique, I like both of them. So hard to choose. It's in depend on your intended uses.

BlackBerry Passport...Simply Amazing!

Couldn't have made a better decision. My first BlackBerry and I love it, so good and easy to use. Works stupendously well and damn consistent with its operations. Have been using it for about 2 months. Such a refined device, don't understand why it did not carry on to be the success that it could have been. The BlackBerry Passport is simply amazing! Call me crack-head or what but it really works for what it is set to do.

note 5 not bland

don't know why you said note 5 is bland but it is a very good phone. I upgraded from a note 3 to note 5 when it was first released. I also thought about upgrading to the note 7 and came very close to getting it. good thing the store did not have the color I wanted Happy

If you want something close to a note 7 get the galaxy s7. only major differences is the iris scanner and stylus. I would not get anything blackberry at this time because imo, it could go out of business at any time.
