I'm posting this message for a friend who doesn't have a computer. Yes, you heard it right: she doesn't have a computer! We absolutely cannot let that stand, so please help recommend a laptop that suits her needs!
Here are the things that she'd like to have:
-- Light weight
-- 13" screen or bigger
-- Intel Core processor
-- Needs to be able to play CD/DVD
BUDGET: $500
She will mainly use the laptop to help her run a small business -- web stuff, word processing, spreadsheet, making brochures/flyers.
She is the sort that might need tech support. She has used Geek Squad, but I'm not sure whether Geek Squad only works with BestBuy customers or with everyone who pays.
Please recommend something reliable for her! Thanks!
