Burnt smell from the computer

Apr 12, 2005 1:29AM PDT

My daughter was using the computer and it got stuck.

Then it started to smell bad, I thought some card is burnt, but when I opened it everything seem to be normal.

I thought power suply was gone and replaced it. The problem did not go away. I can power it and nothing happens and it still smells.

Do you think I have burnt motherboard? But, everything appears normal.

This mother board is Amptron. I do not remember the model number and it is from couple of years ago.

What other things that I need to look for?

Regards,
-Rambabu
