Sorry but too early to tell.

The pictures do help but until I do the work, we can't know.

What's stopping you from doing this repair? A few folk that don't have any background try this and they need to stop and get a good tech.

Plus if yyou don't really know the exact cause

it could happen to the new motherboard also.
