In addition, "Windows Media Player does not support burning movies to video DVD discs. It does support burning data DVD discs, which could contain music and video files. However, data DVDs are typically not compatible with most home DVD players. Check your DVD player documentation for details."

I can't figure out how to burn video/ .wmv files to DVD using WMP 11 on my Vista machine. Also, when I hit f3 and try to manually add the folder containing these videos, the player always proceeds to search through all the folders. Is there some way to limit the search to this recently created "Videos" folder.
(If it matters, this folder is located on an external hard drive, and it has less than only about 1 or 2% of the disk space used. But the path is very simple --> G: videos.)
I can see that during the exhaustive search for new files to add, the search does look through G: videos, yet when it finishes there are no new added files.
I tried to use one of the suite of programs that came with "Nero 7 Essentials," and I got a little further; but, when it came time to add files to playlist there was a message telling me that due to "Digital Media Rights" I could not proceed.
(And I don't know if this matters, but till now I had only added music/ MP3 - these video files average about from 18-40 MB size.)
