is the burning solution of choice for the Mac.
As for editing, take a look at iMove and for created DVD's, a look at iDVD would be helpful.

I'm an old hand at downloading movies and shows, but I'm new to burning them. I need some advice on the best software, free or not, to do what I need to make DVDs. My biggest requirements are the ability to create chapters within a single file and possibly edit the video, and that I be able to create DVD's that can play in just about any DVD player. As implied by the forum, I have a Mac. I see a lot about Roxio Toast when I look for software possibilities, but I don't know if it'll do what I want. If someone could tell me, that would be fantastic. Someone also suggested HandBrake to me, but when I looked at it more closely, it seemed to do the exact reverse of what I wanted. Does anyone have any software advice, or know whether Toast will let me do what I want with chapters and editing? Thank you very much.
