burning programs not detecting my drives

this is the message i get

"There are no CD recorders on this system which are supported by this software and support disc-at-once recording"

this is the second time i try to install a burning program and this comes out... i went to see the properties of the drives ( i have IDE DVD-ROM 16X, AND ARTEC WRR-484Cool and it says they are working properly???? please help sombody im leaving the country and i cant burn? (Win. Xp, Systemax)

The message meant what it said. Check the documentation which came with the burning ptogram and the 'Read Me'files for information for 'drive support'.

disable the disc-at-once setting and see what happens. otherwise, you have to see if the drives you have are on the supported list for your software.
