Nero & Nero Express does that.

Just select MP3 disk from the menu, then add the files.
I'm sure most other popular brands will burn an MP3 cd.
You didn't say what you're using, so I can't say.

MusicMatch

I have been using MusicMatch, which can burn regular or mp3 CD's. I also have a player in the car that can play both. Interestingly, you can play mp3 cd on a home DVD connected to TV. The menu will list songs in root-subdirectory format on the screen. On my setup, 10 songs can display, and then you can nagivage to other subdirectories.

Data cd

Ed, he seems to be asking about an MP3 cd that he can play in his car's player. Data won't play.

Data cd

That's a news to me. Nero has both options, either data or mp3. I assumed that the data files wouldn't play in an mp3 player. Mp3 cds must be another creation of Nero to boost sales. Does this also apply to mp4?

With Nero
Sep 15, 2005 8:27PM PDT

I don't use Nero Smartstart. I just use Nero and burn as CD-Rom (ISO)which is a data cd which just copys the mp3's (data) to disk without converting to Audio (wave/cda). Nero Smartstart just makes it easier do do this. Mp3, Mp4, Ogg, ect. they're all data and if you have a player that supports them, just burn as data.

Nero's marketing worked too well on me.
Your explanation makes perfectly good sense.
