Question

Burning multisession DVD

Jan 21, 2012 4:05AM PST

On my old computer which was PC, I had a burning program which allowed me to burn JPG files on the same DVD in multiple sessions, but now on my iMac I can't do this. Every session finalizes the disk and I can't burn anything else on it anymore. I check in Help and it gave an option to "Leave the disc appendable" for CD, but it does not work for DVD. Does anyone knows how can I solve this? Is there any program I can download that might help?

Answer
Did you try Roxio's Toast?

I've always found multi-session to be too twitchy. I went back to DVDRW for this but now with USB memory sticks at all time lows, that's what I use.

Does Roxio has a version for Mac? I have tons of pictures and I need to organize them by theme and add more at least once a year. I thought about USB sticks, but I find discs easier to mark and organize.
