Burning From RealPlayer Format To a DVD

Aug 4, 2005 11:10AM PDT

I would like to burn the following video to a DVD, but don't know how: http://207.71.36.234:8080/ramgen/kff/martin_sexton.rm. I know it's tricky because it's streaming, but maybe there's a way to find the "source" file? And I probably will need to convert it from RealPlayer format to an .avi, .mpg, etc., I assume? I really don't have any idea. Can you help? By the way, there are no rights or restrictions associated with that video clip; it's fair game!

The thing about streaming is you get to watch but you don't get to keep!!
This was done in a very small screen image 160x120 so it would not look good when filling a TV screen.
Converting RM to other formats??? Not easy to do, but I did find this link.
http://www.rmconverter.com/
But you need the file to use this.
If I have time this weekend I'll give it a try.
Maybe you can contact the site and get a copy of the file on a CD or DVD. John
