Burning DVD-Audio from Music DVDs

Apr 20, 2005 1:06PM PDT

I have a fair amount of music DVD-Videos and the Acura TL with the 5.1 Surround sound DVD-Audio player. Does anyone know of software that will rip the audio from the regular DVDs and burn a DVD-Audio?

True DVD Audio cannot be done on a computer. It is a high resolution format that requires a special sound card to play, and cannot be recorded. Ripping from music dvds is going to be hard since they are for the most part copy guarded.

Followed the link. It tells you how to extract audio from a dvd, but this is not true dvd audio. No wonder the format never took off.
