When you record a file to a CDR in a closed or many other types of SESSIONS, the attribute is set to READ-ONLY because the media is, in fact READ-ONLY.
Here's a note on what to do -> http://www.cdrfaq.org/faq03.html#S3-57
Bob
I am working on a Dell Dimension 8400 Series, Pentium 4 with 3GHz, 160 GB Serial ATA Hard Drive, 1 GB RAM, Windows XP and Small Business 2003.
I've always used MusicMatch to burn my music CDs but when I was trying to retrieve all my information from my old computer to my new, I used it to burn my data.
What I wasn't aware of but probably should have done prior to recording was change the setting so the file would not save as "read only".
Is anyone familiar enough with MusicMatch 8.2 that you can direct me in how to correct this in the future since I know I will want to create a backup of my system for good measure.
I've also sent the request through the support e-mail page on MusicMatch but wanted to get the assistance of other users since I'm not real techy. (So-o-o that means keep it simple guys cause this is a new step for me.)
Thanks!
