Burning CDR's

Nov 29, 2003 4:33AM PST

Hey everybody,
I finally made it over from the old board!
Having trouble burning pictures onto CDR's.
I have nero express, it says it's burnung something but I can't acess it. Any suggestions re: putting my digital pics onto cdr's? Am I using the wrong program or am I just doing it wrong.
Specs: Compaq Presario 500 series, 633 celeron, Win ME,Nero Express burner software. (also Win Media Player and Adaptec 4 CD which doesn't recognize my cd writer) writer is an ARTEC WRR 52X [CDR/RW]
Any help?
Gordon

Seems to be a mess.

You are repeating some bit of history here in that many find out you don't want to:

- Install more than one CDRW recording program.
- Install a version of CDRW recording software that is no longer supported.

Your ire over the software support will not fix the issues. Some seem to get upset which I ask them to stop trying old software that has been superceded by two versions. I have to write that you reserve your comments for others and move on.

1. Rip out the old.

2. Install the new and try again.

Bob,
having trouble following you? What do you mean that I reserve my comments for others and move on?

Simply which is the correct software to use and what version? If you know.

"having trouble following you? What do you mean that I reserve my comments for others and move on?"

Some take issue that software falls off the support map. Even I can't help someone with version 4. You are very much on your own there. Some will break into flames over this. Sorry, but such is best directed elsewhere. It seems too many are upset over this.

"Simply which is the correct software to use and what version? If you know."

What software came with the drive? The bundled software is usually a grand idea and works well. Some start installing any number of software and get to clean it all up.

1. Have you followed the wipe-out of Easy CD Creator 4 yet?
2. Did you uninstall Nero?
3. Then did you install Nero?
4. Then did you go get Nero's updates?

If not, why not?
