burning cd's

by JennyRenz / March 30, 2004 12:41 AM PST

I am trying to create a cd using my windows media player but when I insert a blank cd it seems unable to detect it therefore won't copy onto it. I don't know how to get it to recognise the blank cd and download the tracks. Is it anything to do with the fact that I have Windows Millenium Edition?

In short, WMP doesn't support all make/models of CDRW drives.

There is a FAQ that you can review at http://www.nwlink.com/~zachd/pss/pss.html to see if there is any known fix.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
