I don't have Nero 6 on the computer I'm on today, but there is selection in Nero somewhere for burning an image, which is what you want. Check under File menu, see if it's there, if it is select it, and then browse to the iso file on your hard drive that you are wanting to burn and select it.
My system: Windows XP Pro SP2, FAT32.
I have no problems burning a KNOPPIX CD previously - by droping the downloaded iso file unto the project pane at Nero Burning ROM 5.
Recently, I downloaded the new version of KONPPIX, ver 4.02. I dropped the iso file unto the project pane of Nero Burning ROM 6, but what I burned was the iso file itself, not the bootable KNOPPIX CD. What did I do wrong ? I did not remember the special settings required, if any, for the previous successful burns.
Or, generally asking, how do I burn an iso file so that it turns into the "origional" files ? I would have thought the burning program like Nero would have converted it automatically.
