Burning a DVD from 3 video clip files?

Nov 21, 2005 2:55AM PST

This is the info that I have of the files:

Video Info

audio: Lamp MP3 32kbps Bit Rate: 1100kbps
Codec: XviD 1.0.3
Frame Rate: NTSC 29.970
ResolutioN: 320x240

This is about 90 minute clip all together (a soccer game) but I don't know how to burn them on a DVD. Together they are about 786 MB and I believe they are *.avi files...

Any help appreciated.

Don't encode it as such to make life easier.

DVDSanta might do this, but anytime I see such encoding I have to ask how you could do this and not know how to get it to some neutral encoding.

Why don't you know?

Or is this pirated material?

Don't know if it is pirated or not.

Downloaded it from a bit torrent and that's the way it came.

Now, the only thing I am interested in is to know HOW to burn it onto a DVD and if it will work in my DVD player (it would be good if it was possible to get it to a neutral encoding unless that will affect the picture quality).

Very odd

If it's not worth 25 bucks for DVDSANTA then I guess we're done.

What's so odd?

I have DVDSanta and have found out (I think. It is still encoding the files) how to do it. So, no cost at all at this time! Wink And yes, this soccer game is probably worth more than $25! Probably $100 to some people.

What I found odd is.

A solution was noted and you seemed to ask again for a solution in the following post.

DVDSANTA is cheap at 25 bucks unless you ripped it off.

Did you rip them off?

Rip who off?

What are you talking about? You mentioned DVDSanta in your first post but just breifly so I didn't think that was the solution. I have DVDSanta and now you ask me if I ripped somebody off? If you mean if I have a legal copy of DVDSanta my answer is that it is non of your business Mister! And even IF I had ripped them off (the makers of DVDSanta), I wouldn't be stupid enough to tell you about it.

BTW, did you pay for all your software that should be paid for?

Yup. Sure did.

These are not pirate friendly boards so it's best to never mention P2P is your source.

In that case...

I always do when P2P is mentioned.

Movie downloads are going to become a problem (and already are) as more people pirate and seek support.

All the Moderators have met and the stance is simple. We are not going to be friendly about P2P, movies and such.

Would you be friendly towards pirates?

Cheers,

bob
